This policy explains how LineupLab handles personal information when you visit the website, create an account, connect a fantasy platform, upload roster material, or use LineupLab's analytics and AI features.
Effective and last updated:
This policy applies to the LineupLab website, application, and related services (the “Service”).
PrepDesk, LLC operates LineupLab and is the controller of personal information described in this policy unless stated otherwise. In this policy, “LineupLab,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to PrepDesk, LLC and the LineupLab product.
When you connect a currently supported fantasy service, such as Sleeper or ESPN, we receive information made available by that provider or authorized by you. Depending on the connection method, this may include an authorization token, provider session cookie, account identifier, or other credential used to maintain the connection. These connection secrets are stored in encrypted form. If a provider login requires you to supply a password to LineupLab, the password is transmitted to that provider for authentication and is not intentionally stored by LineupLab; the resulting token or session credential may be stored instead.
We may collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages or features used, timestamps, error reports, performance data, and similar log or diagnostic information. We also use cookies, local storage, and comparable technologies for authentication, security, preferences, cached results, audience measurement, product analytics, and core Service functions.
We use Vercel analytics tools and PostHog to understand aggregate traffic, referral sources, page paths, feature adoption, interaction sequences, performance, and where users encounter friction. When you sign in, analytics activity may be associated with an internal account identifier so we can understand the journey from a first visit to product use. We do not send your email address, passwords, provider credentials, AI prompt contents, roster contents, or uploaded media as analytics properties.
If you use a referral link, we record the referring and referred account identifiers, signup time, paid-plan qualification, reward status, and redemption season so we can apply discounts, show referral progress, and prevent duplicate or abusive rewards.
Session replay is configured to mask rendered text and all form inputs and to block images, video, canvas, and embedded frames. Replay is used to understand interaction patterns and interface problems, not to inspect the contents of your fantasy account, uploads, or conversations. Analytics URLs are stripped of query strings and dynamic account, team, and league identifiers before transmission.
We use information to:
We may create aggregated or deidentified information and use it for analytics, research, and Service improvement. We will not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law, such as to test our deidentification methods.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information as needed to perform our contract with you; based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service; with your consent; and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
We may disclose information to:
LineupLab does not sell personal information for money. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or process it for targeted advertising as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
AI features may send your prompt and relevant fantasy context to model providers that process it on our behalf. Do not include passwords, financial account details, government identifiers, health information, or other unnecessary sensitive information in prompts or uploads. AI output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate. LineupLab does not use AI output to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account and connected teams, preserve security and business records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Retention varies by data type and may consider whether the information is needed for an active account, whether you ask us to delete it, and whether legal or safety obligations require continued retention. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from backups or records we must retain. We may retain aggregated or deidentified information where permitted by law.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encryption for stored provider connection secrets. No online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur. You are responsible for using a unique password and protecting your account and connected devices.
You may disconnect fantasy accounts, choose not to upload material, and manage certain account information in the Service. LineupLab's product analytics also respects browser Do Not Track signals. Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may also have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain disclosures or targeted advertising; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and appeal a denied request. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is no such activity to opt out of today.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authority and direct verification with you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. LineupLab accounts are intended for people who are at least 18. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
LineupLab and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use legally recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
The Service links to and interoperates with third-party platforms. Their terms and privacy practices govern their services. LineupLab does not control and is not responsible for those third parties' privacy, security, availability, or content.
We may update this policy as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised policy and update the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
To ask a privacy question or exercise a privacy right, contact LineupLab through the support channel made available in the Service. Please write “Privacy Request” in your message and identify the email address tied to your account. Do not send passwords or fantasy-platform session credentials.
